Sheer nosiness

I've long been fascinated by what other people read on the Underground. Other people's choices are a constant source of ideas for new titles to try, and there couldn't be another place in London that draws together a more diverse range of reading interests. If you ever find someone reading over your shoulder, please don't be tempted to sock them one - they're just looking for new reading material.

Lately I've been walking to work, so have been lacking my usual source of reading material. Lucky for me, I discovered LibraryThing earlier in the year. They now have groups that discuss everything from what you bought today, through to the book you loathe above all others (aptly named "Awful Lit"). Rivetting stuff.
